At Minar-e-Pakistan (the most historical place of Lahore, Pakistan), the 26th annual and the world’s biggest ever International Mawlid-ul-Nbi Conference was held under the banner of Mihaj ul Quran International between the midnight of 11th and 12th Rabi ul Awal on 26th February 2010.
The proceedings of the Conference started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Qari Minhaj ul Din and Qari Allah Baksh Naqshbandi. The Naat Khawans who recited Naat were Qari Amjad Ali Bilali Brothers, (Zahid Islam Qadri, Tahir Islam Qadri, Muhammad Owais Akram Qadri, Muhammad Ayyaz Qadri, Muhammad Waqas Hameed Qadri, and Muhammad Tanveer Abid Qadri) Minhaj Naat Council, Haideri Brothers, Shahzad Brothers, Shahzad Haneef Madani, Shahzad Ashiq, Hamza Noshahi and others. The audience expressed their spiritual emotions by holding and waving flags during Naat Khawani. The flags bore the name of the Most Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Throughout the outstanding performance of Qari Amjad Ali Bilali Brothers, the environment remained spiritually blissful.
For the very first time in the history of Pakistan, the special Milad ceremony was organized in a local Church in February 2010. This awesome ceremony was given the name as Mawlid-ul-Nabi (P.B.U.H) Conference, which was hosted by Reverend Chaman Sardar, chairman of Mother Teresa Welfare Society and the Christian community in the Baptist Church in Shahadrah Lahore. President of Minhaj ul Quran International’s Federal Council Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri (Youngest son of Shykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri) was the chief guest on the occasion. Qari Nazeer Ahmad Saeedi started the program with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Parson Noor recited verses from the Bible, while the Choral Group of the Baptist Church sang the peace song. Sahibzada Iftikhar-ul-Hassan Chishti, Qari Amjad Ali Bilali brothers ,a Naat group of Minhaj ul Quran International, (Zahid islam Qadri, Tahir Islam Soharwardi, Muhammad Owais Akram Qadri, Muhammad Ayyaz Qadri, Muhammad Waqas Hameed Qadri, Muhammad Tanveer Abid Qadri) and Shahzad Ashiq presented Naat in the honor of Most Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
